I was asked to photograph four month old baby R.  What a sweet little girl she is.  I don't think that she cried the entire time during the photo shoot.  She is such a well natured baby and full of personality.  Oh, how her eyes sparkle...

I had the pleasure of taking family photos for Colleen and Matt.  The photo shoot was to also celebrate a special high school graduation.  It was a quick photo shoot because M. had to be back at the high school.  All seven members of the family were eager to have their photos taken.    I also managed to snap some pictures with their beloved cockapoo.  

Colleen and Matt, you have a wonderful family and thank you for letting me be a part of capturing memories for you.

I met Krissy and Bunty at Barnston Island during a weeknight.  
Krissy looked amazing in her ninth month of pregnancy.  This was a maternity shoot during golden hour.  I took photos in a couple of locations...in the wheat and on the grass.  Krissy and Bunty have so much fun together, especially when they interact with each other.  They love their little one so much...

Rick Hansen

I had an incredible experience working with Jordan Kerton of Access Revolution.  Jordan is a recreation therapist and is responsible for introducing the Onit board to BC.   Rick Hansen graciously offered to try out the Onit board.  It was a formidable experience to watch as I witnessed Rick gliding on the water while in his wheelchair and on a paddleboard; it was awe inspiring.  I was so happy to be part of a great experience.

Sunshine feels so good doesn't it?  I enjoy taking photographs, but taking them outside is a treat.   It is great when there is a variety of settings to choose from.  I love taking photos during golden hour...the light is gorgeous.  I had so much fun on my recent teen shoot with Malia.  She is so photogenic and a natural when it comes to being in front of the camera.  We shot on Barnston Island in Surrey, BC.  There are so many fantastic photos of her; remember I told you how photogenic she is!  We had a lot of fun...

Better Late than Never...

Yep,  I am behind with my blogging.  I am slowly catching up and I wanted to share some of my fav. photos with you.  These were taken for a very special girl on her birthday (these were in the summer).  Lisa,  an interior designer thought of all of the details for her daughter's b-day...from the chevron print tablecloth to the sparkly, gold chandelier; Svea had a birthday fit for a special girl.  A lot of the fun party supplies were purchased from shopsweetlulu.

   I love babies.  I love their laughter & giggles, tiny fingers & toes,  but I really enjoy watching them interact within their environment.  I was fortunate to photograph baby Anne at her home.    I photographed her in natural light and within a small space.   At such a young age, Anne is already full of personality.  She had so many sweet and adorable expressions that made me smile.
